Xtreme Fire Ministries - Standing Firm: The Battle Cry

xtreme7KENTUCKY (12/14/2012) - As a religious leader, I’m constantly being asked who I’m voting for and where my political standing lies. In a nut shell, with out getting political or theological (which I prefer to avoid both when I can), my loyalty lies where it always has…with my God. You see, we the church have to stand firm to our beliefs. In a nation that is falling fast, we must here the battle cry. It’s time that we answer the call that is being placed on us.

My church uses a shoehorn. It is something that has been used many times throughout the years for many things. One of these uses is to sound a battle cry. It was a sound that meant, “we are ready for war.” You see, it is that time where we believers stand together and fight for what we believe. We have stood idly by and watched as our nation has been ripped away from us.

Which president are we going to vote for? Are we voting? Where does our loyalty lie? These are all questions that the world is looking to us to answer. So what do we do? How do we react? In a world where promises are made to better our economy, help our nations and lands…I say there is only one way to help all of these things. Jesus Christ is the only way to save this nation.

We have stood by and let an atheistic world rip our God from our nation and our lives and now have the chance to make a difference. What will we do? We will let God guide us as we move into a new age? Will we keep going the route we are? I say this, the road this nation is on is leading to only one place, destruction.

It is through Jesus Christ that our economy will grow again, it is through Him that we will once again rise as a nation. One nation, under God…the way it was meant to be. Let’s face some harsh facts…we “Christians” outnumber the other religions in this nation. How is it that we can still watch our God ripped from our lives? How is it that the world keeps pushing God away? If we stand, as one body of Christ, then who can stop our movement? Can anyone stand against our God, if we stand up for Him and show that we will settle for nothing less than a Godly nation? Simply put, where does your loyalty lie? Where will you put your faith and vote? I can say this, mine goes to God. No president will pull us out of this, no government can save our nation. Only Jesus Christ can.

Here it is, the battle cry. The time where we must stand as a nation, face the enemies with faith and strength that only God can give, and bring this nation back to the heart of God. There can be only one God that we serve, which will you serve…land or Christ? Can you hear it? The sound echoing through the ages…it’s the shoehorns of old calling out to us. It’s time to stand firm, it’s time to answer the battle cry.
