WEBSTER COUNTY, KY (11/7/12) - Spc. Bret Hoskins, a native of Sebree, was recently awarded the a coin of excellence for outstanding performance. He was nominated for the award by his battalion chain of responsibility for his hard work and dedication while in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.

Hoskins is currently assigned to Choppin Company, 3rd Battalion, 187th Infantry Regiment, 3rd Brigade Combat Team “Rakkasans,” 101st Airborne Division. His unit is stationed at Forward Operating Base Salerno, near the city of Khost in Afghanistan.
