WEBSTER COUNTY, KY (11/14/12) – The following is your weekly update of events and activities in the Webster County area.
 
Thanksgiving Dinner & Sing
New Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church invites everyone to their Thanksgiving Dinner and Sing Saturday, Nov. 17. Dinner will be served at 5 p.m. and singing will begin at 6:30 featuring John Boster & Higher Vision.

Historical Society To Meet
The Webster County Historical and Genealogical Society will meet at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 17, in the research room of the Webster County Public Library. The program will be a round table sharing of family holiday traditions. All are invited to attend.

Thanksgiving Dinner
The 5th Annual Thanksgiving Community Fellowship Dinner will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 18, at Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Family Life Center in Providence. Everyone is invited to attend.

Thanksgiving Meal Delivery
Christ Temple Church would like to be a part of your Thanksgiving celebration by delivering a meal to you Nov. 22 between 11 a.m. and noon. Orders will be taken until Wednesday, Nov. 21. For a delivered meal call 667-5502, 635-5022 or 667-2382.

Free Union GB Church
Free Union General Baptist Church is having services led by trial pastor the Rev. Brian Turner. Sunday School is at 10 a.m., morning worship at 11 a.m. and Sunday night services at 6 p.m. Everyone is invited to attend.

Chamber Awards Banquet
The Providence Chamber of Commerce Awards Banquet will be held Thursday, Dec. 6. For reservations please call by Nov. 15th, Sue Loux, 667-5913 or 635-1489.

Annual Christmas Parade
The Providence Chamber of Commerce will hold the annual Christmas Parade at 4 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 1. There is no fee involved and Christmas decorations are required. Following the parade, there will be a gathering at the Community Center for pictures with Santa and Mrs. Claus sponsored by Independence Bank. For information call Sue Loux at 667-5913.
