WEBSTER COUNTY, KY (11/21/12) – The following is your weekly update of events and activities in the Webster County area.

Thanksgiving Sing
A Thanksgiving Community Sing will be held at 6 p.m. at the Courthouse in Dixon Nov. 22, Thanksgiving evening. The Teen Challenge Men's Choir and local talent will be featured. Hot chocolate and treats will be provided. Everyone is welcome to bring a chair and enjoy the service.
 
Prayer Walk
A Prayer Walk will be held at Broadway Elementary at 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 25. Everyone is invited to participate.
 
Toys For Tots
The Cabinet for Family and Children Services office in Dixon is the only location that will accept names of families wishing to receive toys. Children up to age 13 can receive toys and they must live in Webster County. Contact their office at 639-5044. Anyone needing information about Toys for Tots or would like to hand deliver a donation should contact Keith Farrell at 635-3801.
 
Diabetes Awareness Lunch
Methodist Hospital and Health Coalition are sponsoring a Diabetes Awareness Lunch and Learn at the UK Extension Office in Dixon Tuesday, Nov. 27, at noon. To RSVP call 993-8282.
