WEBSTER COUNTY, KY (12/19/12) - Tim and Tammy Smith, the owners of Smith Metals, S & S Salvage in Providence, are the proud parents of a brand new baby girl named Molly Kay Smith.
Although the birth of a child is a special event, it's usually not news. What made this arrival so special was timing. Molly wasn’t due for two more weeks, but because of some minor complications the doctor thought it best to proceed with the delivery early.
“We were there for a scheduled c-section,” said mother Tammy Smith. “The doctor schedule the delivery on December 12, 2012.”
The c-section was expected to go quickly, but the anesthesiologist took a little longer than usual.
“They were ready to bring her out at 12:11, so the doctor waited one more minute,” Smith said.
Molly Smith was officially born at 12:12 on 12/12/12.
The number 12 is considered the perfect number and a lucky number. If that’s the case, this is one little girl with a very bright future.
