WEBSTER COUNTY, KY (12/19/12) - The following is your weekly update of events and activities in the Webster County area.

Candlelight Communion - Waggoner Church will have open Candlelight Communion from 4 - 6 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 23. Families or individuals are invited to come during these times to receive Communion. Waggoner Church is located on Waggoner Rd. off of Hwy. 857.

Church Christmas Program - Webb Memorial United Methodist Church in Clay will present The Christmas Shoe Tree musical at 6 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 16. Also their Shoe Drive for Soles4Souls will continue through Dec. 16. Your gently worn shoes can be given a second chance at life by being redistributed through the charity's international & domestic partners. If you would like to donate shoes or for more information about the shoe drive contact the church, 270-667-2411.

Dixon Lodge To Meet - Dixon Masonic Lodge will meet Monday, Dec. 17, at 7 p.m. A dinner will be served at 6 p.m. Installation of the 2013 officers will be held at this meeting. All members are urged to attend.
 
Free Computer Classes - Free computer classes and computer help are available at Westview Computer Lab Monday - Friday from 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. in January, 2013. For more information call 667-7139.
 
Christmas Program - Clay First General Baptist Church will have a special Christmas Program at 6 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 15. Christmas will be celebrated in song, poetry and verse. There will be refreshments afterward in the New Life Center. Everyone is invited. For more information call 664-2203.
 
Senior Citizen Party - The Dixon Senior Center will have a Christmas party for senior citizens at 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 13. There will be lunch, dirty Santa, and music by Jill Pinkston, Pauletta Yarbrough and Kafie McDowell. There will also be a party at The Carhartt Building at 11 a.m. in Sebree on Tuesday, Dec. 18. A pot luck lunch will be served and music will be provided by Mack and Steve. Everyone is welcome to both events. For more information call 639-5394.
