WESTERN KENTUCKY (2/10/14) — There's not much chance for snow in the forecast this week but what's laying around is probably staying around until the later part of the week.
According to the National Weather Service in Paducah, it's going to be cold through Tuesday night but temperatures should reach to above freezing by Wednesday.
Today, expect mostly sunny skies with a high near 22 will give way to mostly cloudy skies with a low around 5 degrees for tonight.
Tuesday, expect mostly sunny skies with a high near 24 but accompanying wind chill values will make it feel like -7 degrees. Tuesday night calls for mostly clear skies with a low of around 11.
Wednesday, temperatures are expected to reach 33 degrees with sunny skies but expect a low of 18 for Wednesday night.
Thursday is the first bright spot in the week with a high near 44 and sunny skies. A low of 27 is expected for Thursday night.
A chance of rain and snow comes in for Friday with partly sunny skies and a high near 40. For Friday night, skies are expected to be mostly cloudy with a low of around 23.
On Saturday, there's a slight chance of showers with partly sunny skies and a high near 42. For Saturday night, a low of 31 is expected.
Sunday brings the end of the week and the warmest temperatures in recent memory. A high of 46 with sunny skies is expected.
