Baptist Health Paducah 300MADISONVILLE, Ky. (7/21/14) — Muhlenberg County pharmacist Ron Poole has been appointed to the Baptist Health Madisonville Board of Directors.

Poole owns and operates Poole’s Pharmacy Care in Central City, Livermore and Owensboro with a fourth location set to open in Greenville later this year.

Baptist Health Board Chairman Allen Rudd said Poole has excellent credentials for the board. “He also brings a knowledge of the community from his nearly 25 years of residence here," Rudd said.

Poole has served as a director of the Board of Health and First National Bank of Muhlenberg County, as well as past president of the Kentucky Pharmacist Association.

"I am genuinely honored to serve on the Board of Directors of Baptist Health Madisonville,” Poole said. “The atmosphere at Baptist Health is contagious with a caring staff at every level performing their duties with noticeable spiritual values. I can only hope that I can contribute to the continued success, growth and mission of Baptist Health."

A native of Kentucky, Poole graduated from the University of Kentucky College of Pharmacy in 1990. Married to the former Lisa Wedding, he is the father of Megan, Allie, Evan and Emma.
