DAVIESS COUNTY, KY (12/28/12) – Yet another in an ongoing series of bank robberies took place in Owensboro this evening.
On December 28, at approximately 4:15 PM, On December 28, 2012, at approximately 4:15 p.m., the Owensboro Police Department (OPD) responded to a robbery call at First Security Bank at 3560 Frederica
Street.
The investigation revealed that a white male entered the bank and demanded money. During the encounter, the suspect was observed with a small handgun. There were no injuries, and the suspect was able to leave with an undetermined amount of cash.
The suspect is described as a white male, approximately six feet tall, with a medium build. He was also described as clean shaven wearing a grey stocking cap, a grey hoodie and blue jeans.
