SURFKY clearing 300WESTERN Ky. (6/17/13) – The Western Kentucky region will have a beautiful week ahead of us, if we can make it through one day.

This afternoon, Monday, June 17, a potential storm front will be moving through the area, bringing with it a 50 percent chance of thunderstorms and a high of 90 degrees, with considerable humidity. The storm front will intensify overnight with the chance of storms jumping up to 60%. Winds are not expected to be severe during the potential storms.

On Tuesday through Thursday the clouds will gradually go away, bringing mostly sunny conditions with temperatures in the mid-80’s for these three days.

Friday will also be mostly sunny with temperatures rising a little, topping out around 87 degrees.
