Weekly Weather Report – Stepping Back into Summer

surfky weather WESTERN Ky. (9/9/13) – Over the last couple of weeks we have seen the Fall season weather conditions moving into the area. Unfortunately, Mother Nature has chosen to take a 360 degree turn back into summer-like conditions over the next week.
 
Today, Monday, we will see mostly sunny skies with a high jumping back up to 91 degrees. Overnight the temperatures will be in the low to mid-seventies with a slight breeze.
 
Tuesday will bring with it more sun, with temps around 92 degrees. Tuesday night some clouds will move into the region with a low around 71 degrees.
 
Wednesday will bring forth even more sun with a high near 91 degrees. In the overnight hours there will be a very slight chance of showers and/or thunderstorms with a low around 71 degrees.
 
On Thursday we will see a slight drop in temperatures, with a high near 88 degrees, and a small chance of showers/storms. Thursday night will be partly cloudy with a low around 63 degrees.
 
On Friday we will once again see more fall-like conditions with a high near 82 degrees. Friday night will have a low around 57 degrees.
 
At this time, it is looking like temperatures will drop into the 70’s over the weekend.
