TRAFFIC ADVISORY – Bridge Work on WK Parkway

lane restrictions bridge 300HOPKINS COUNTY, KY (6/3/12) – A contractor for the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet plans to restrict traffic to one lane on KY 454 in Hopkins County starting Monday, June 4, 2012.

The lane restriction at KY 454 mile point 1.040 is to allow placement of a bridge deck overlay on the I-69/Western Kentucky Parkway Overpass at that site.

Motorists should be alert for alternating traffic flow controlled by an automated signal around the clock in this work zone.

Caution is required where equipment, flaggers, and construction personnel are along the roadway in close proximity to traffic flow.

M&M Services is the prime contractor on this $193,749 highway improvement project.

This project is expected to take about three weeks to complete, weather permitting.
