trooper yearMADISONVILLE, Ky. (3/27/13) – On Friday, March 15, 2013, the International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP) Trooper of the Year Award Ceremony was held in New Orleans, LA. Kentucky State Police Detective Dan Morck was one of four nominees for this prestigious award. Candidates were selected from the following regions: North Central, Mountain Pacific, North Atlantic, and Southern. (Det. These investigations have resulted in charges against a number of individuals living and working in proximity to young children.

In 2009, Det. Morck became the Post 2 Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) detective. He currently resides in Madisonville with his wife and three children.

The International Association of Chiefs of Police is the world’s oldest and largest association of law enforcement executives. Founded in 1893, the IACP has more than 21,000 members in 100 countries.
