GRAVES COUNTY, KY (11/15/12) – The Kentucky State Police (KSP) investigated a single vehicle collision that occurred on KY 1684 on Thursday, November 15, 2012 at 8:00 A.M.
Preliminary investigation revealed that Alexandra B. Frick, age 24 of Paducah, KY, was operating a 2000 Toyota Celica northbound on KY 1684. For an unknown reason Frick traveled into the southbound lanes, Frick then lost control of her vehicle when she crossed back into the northbound lane. Frick traveled off the roadway striking an earth embankment and a tree as her vehicle came to final rest.
Frick was flown to Vanderbilt Hospital from the scene for injuries she obtained in the collision. Frick was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the collision. The investigation is being conducted by Trooper Hill. KSP was assisted on the scene by Graves County Sheriff’s Department, Mayfield EMS, and the Symsonia Volunteer Fire Department.
