KSP Conducting Death Investigation of Infant

kystatepoliceimage 300LYON COUNTY, KY (11/30/12) - The Kentucky State Police is conducting a death investigation into the death of Charles Bobinsky IV, age 2 of Eddyville, KY.  KSP received a 911 call at 12:35 p.m. advising that the child had been severely injured and was being transported to the Caldwell County Emergency Room by a private vehicle.  

The child was riding with his grandfather, Charles Bobinsky, age 52 of Eddyville, KY., who was operating a skid steer loader on his private property.  The child fell off the skid steer and received a massive head injury.  The child died at the Caldwell County ER, due to his injuries.

The investigation is continuing by Master Trooper Chris Anderson.  Master Trooper Anderson was assisted by the Lyon County Sheriff’s Department, Lyon County EMS and KSP Detective Matt Foster from KSP post two.
