Sexual Assault in Owensboro

crime scene 300OWENSBORO, KY (11/22/12) – On November 21st, 2012 at approximately 6:15 PM, the Owensboro Police Department (OPD) responded to Legion Park, 3041 J. R. Miller Boulevard, in reference to a sexual abuse call.

The initial report from the victim, an adult female, stated that while she was jogging in the park, an unknown white male approached her from behind, shoved her to the ground, and began groping her inappropriately. The male subject fled the scene on foot as other people in the park began approaching.

The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 5’7 tall, weighing approximately 160 pounds, wearing a black sock cap with a yellow ball on top, a gray shirt and black shorts.
