(3/14/13) – On March 8, 2013, the McCracken County Grand Jury indicted several individuals that had been investigated by the McCracken County Sheriff’s Department Drug Division for various drug trafficking offenses. Detectives also opened an investigation into the trafficking of prescription medication by Karla Hessler of Ledbetter, KY and Jessi Crooks, of Paducah, KY. Detectives determined that Hessler and Crooks were assisting each other in selling Methadone doses from Crooks residence located at 3712 Clarks River Road Paducah, KY. On Wednesday, Hessler, 29-years-old, turned herself into law enforcement and bonded out of jail on a $10,000 property bond.
