HOPKINS COUNTY, KY (11/13/12) – JENNMAR of West Kentucky, Inc. along with the city of Madisonville, KY and CSX Railroad have partnered together to provide Rail-to-Truck and Truck-to-Rail Transloading Services for central and western Kentucky.
 
The JENNMAR Transloading site is located on the CSX Railroad in Madisonville, KY, with convenient access to major highways and interstates. JENNMAR will be able to provide transloading and distribution services between railcars and trucks for a wide range of products.
 
The primary function of JENNMAR’s Transloading site is to provide customers with access to rail transportation and the advantages of shipping by rail, which is the most cost effective mode of transportation in the U.S. Customers without a rail siding can utilize JENNMAR’s transloading site and have access to rail transportation, saving thousands of dollars in transportation costs when compared to truck transport alone. Provisions are planned to provide transloading services for a variety of railcars such as flat decks, hoppers, boxcars, and tankers.
