P’Pool Presents 2012 Service Award to Local Woman

ppool awardMADISONVILLE, KY (12/4/12) – In today’s Hopkins County Fiscal Court Meeting, Todd P’Pool, Hopkins County Attorney, presented Angie K. Hamby with the “5 Star Service Award for Outstanding Service” to Hopkins County.
 
Angie is a native of Hopkins County, she is married to Darren Hamby and they have 2 children, Lexie and Kanen. Angie studied Business at Madisonville Community College and has spent the majority of her career in the banking industry.
 
The Hopkins County Attorney’s Office was fortunate enough to hire her in December of 2009 to develop our Delinquent Tax Collection Program. Since the inception of the program she has been able to save nearly 300 Hopkins County families from foreclosure. Through the program she has been able to collect over one million dollars for Hopkins County.
 
Todd P’Pool stated, “I am honored to present Angie with this award, she has done an outstanding job for our agency and is an example of excellence.”
