Update on Body Found in Morton’s Gap

breakingnews update 300HOPKINS COUNTY, KY (12/7/12) – Yesterday, Thursday, December 6, the Hopkins County Sheriff’s Office reported that a body had been found in the Morton’s Gap area near the CSX railroad tracks.
 
An autopsy was conducted yesterday on a woman identified as 36-year-old Lisa Sullivan. According to new information released by Detective Will Coursey, preliminary results from the Autopsy, performed in Louisville, KY, reveal that Sullivan's death was primarily due to blunt force trauma as a result of being struck by a CSX train.
 
The investigation into this death is still ongoing by the Hopkins County Sheriff’s Department. A final report is yet to be issued by the Medical Examiner’s office.
