Madisonville Woman Found Dead by CSX Crew

breaking news_body_foundHOPKINS COUNTY, KY (12/6/12) — Today, December 6th, 2012, the Hopkins County Sheriff’s Department was notified by CSX that a northbound train crew observed that there was an unresponsive subject on the tracks near Ed Brackett Lane.

Deputy Jamie Lampton was dispatched to the scene and discovered an unresponsive female. Hopkins County Coroner Dennis Mayfield responded to the scene and pronounced the female dead.

The female was identified as 36-year-old Lisa Sullivan, of Madisonville. An autopsy is scheduled for today in Louisville, KY.

HCSO was assisted at the scene by Medical Center Ambulance, Hopkins County Coroner, St. Charles Fire Department, and CSX Personnel.
