Muhlenberg Bids 'Farewell' to Young Firefighter Caleb Harvell

DSC 3979GREENVILLE, Ky. (5/2/14) — Muhlenberg said, 'Farewell,' to one of its finest Friday as the funeral of Caleb Harvell, 20, was held in Greenville.

Services were at Second Baptist Church in Greenville with the Rev. Kerry Vincent officiating.

The young Greenville Fire Department lieutenant was given firefighter's honors as his flag-draped casket was carried by his firefighting brothers and sisters to the back of a Greenville Fire Department engine and carried to his resting place at Rose Hill Cemetery in Central City.

Crowds lined the route as people saluted the procession as it passed through downtown Greenville and traveled along Everly Brothers Boulevard to Rose Hill on U.S. 62.
