Praise in the Park, a Night of Music

4th fest 1 300MADISONVILLE, Ky. (6/27/13) – The City of Madisonville will be celebrating their annual 4th Fest by adding the new event “Praise in the Park on Tuesday July 2, 2013 from 6:00pm-9:00pm.
 
This event will be free to the community and will take place on the main stage of the Madisonville City Park. Seating will not be provided, so please bring your blankets and lawn chairs. Concessions will also be setup.
 
“We are excited to see the 4th Fest include a night of praise and worship. Madisonville has some amazing talent,” stated Lynette Lewis, an employee of the city of Madisonville. “Praise in the Park will provide an opportunity to showcase a variety of music from some of our local churches. We are looking forward to this event and believe there will be something for everyone to enjoy. Please plan on joining us for an evening of Praise in the Park.”
 
This event will be made up of 5 local Christian groups, genres ranging from Southern Gospel to Contemporary Christian.
 
“We encourage people to come out and have a great time,” expressed Leslie Curneal, Director of Customer Service for the city of Madisonville.
