mcc schoolbuilding 300HOPKINS COUNTY, Ky. (6/9/14) — MCC will be hosting the following camps next week and we want to invite you to stop in to check out all the activities:

Camp WonderKids is scheduled from 8 a.m. until 3 p.m June 9-13 each day at the Madisonville City Park. Designed for children ages 6-12 with asthma, this free camp helps educate children about their disease, teaches them how they can better control its effect on their lives, plus provides an opportunity for them to enjoy a typical day camp experience. G.L.A.D. - Guided Learning in Academic Development - Summer Enrichment Camp is scheduled for June 9-26 and culminates with a trip to Atlanta. A celebration luncheon will be held 12 p.m., June 25. The week of June 9-13 will feature Lego Robotics with instructor Eddie Milum from 8 – 11:45 a.m. MTW and 8 -10 a.m. (RF) in rooms 142 (Monday only) and 109 in the Brown Badgett, Sr. Energy & Advanced Technology Center (BBC). Participants will also participate in health sessions with Ali Townsend & Ted Parrish on Thursday and Friday from 10-11:45 a.m. in rooms 117 and 123/BBC.
