women-equal-dayHOPKINS COUNTY, Ky. (8/14/14) — Women’s Equality Day is Aug. 26 and designated as the day which commemorates the passage of the 19th Amendment to the Constitution, giving women the right to vote.

On Aug. 26, the Hopkins County Business and Professional Women organization will sponsor Voter Registration from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. at Merle Norman, 226 Madison Square Drive in Madisonville.
