dale todd 300MUHLENBERG COUNTY, Ky. (6/28/13) – Due to a misunderstanding in source of content, SurfKY News would like to clarify a recent news story that we ran on June 11, titled “Supt. Todd Baffled by Hiring of Interim Superintendent.”
We would like to make known that the byline credit for the story was mistakenly shown to be Dale Todd. The story was actually an interview with Todd by SurfKY Reporters. It was not an article written by Supt. Todd.
Though we do apologize for this error, we stand strong in that we will always attempt to provide our Muhlenberg County readership with non-biased news, getting both sides of stories such as this one. In this particular case, we did consider that, after 12 years as Superintendent, it would be fair to allow Supt. Todd to voice his opinion and share information on the situation.
We would also like to let the public know that we reached out to the board to respond, dispute or just comment on Todd’s view in any manner they chose. As was stated before, we are very set on giving both parties in any situation an opportunity to state their side of the story.
In a nation where freedom of speech and freedom of the press are two of the basic foundations of our country, we strive to bring our readers all sides of current issues, and we will continue to do so.
