Muhlenberg Job Corps recognizes Cody Perry, Above & Beyond Employee

jobcorp perry 300MUHLENBERG COUNTY, Ky (1/8/14) - Cody Perry began his employment at the Muhlenberg Job Corps Center on July 7, 2011. During his tenure as the Recreation Supervisor he has diligently worked to improve student retention and promote staff and student participation through many different types of activities and events. He has also revamped the student leadership program in his area and takes this opportunity to coach and develop not only student leaders in recreation, but also students on the Center's at-risk list. Perry and his staff are enthusiastic in their duties and continue to strive each day to ensure the recreation program is a success. He not only looks at activities, but he continuously works to coach and develop the students to become successful.

Mr. Perry is also a key player in integrating the Center and the local community. He continues to seek out opportunities for our students to become involved and feel apart the community. The Center's students are involved in local charity softball tournaments, roadside trash clean up, etc. Perry not only builds local community relationships, but also has great communication and involvement with other Job Corps Centers through participation in our intramural sports events.

Perry is an excellent team player, goes above and beyond for his job and for the students, branches out to other departments for input and continuously provides assistance when needed. The Muhlenberg Job Corps Center and Horizons Youth Services is proud to recognize Cody Perry, whose performance is consistently Above and Beyond the expectations of his position.
