OWENSBORO, Ky. (7/25/13) - Working with customers to accommodate their schedules and their needs is the number one priority for a medical equipment office that opened in Owensboro this year, its CEO told SurfKY News yesterday.

Jeff Hendrix said he has worked for larger companies that provide similar products, but All Care Equipment and Rentals tries to take an “extra step” to help customers “because that’s what they deserve.” For example, he said, he provides his cell phone number to every customer in case there’s an issue with the equipment All Care provides to them. On Saturdays, the goal of personal care has meant meeting with customers who can’t come to the business during its normal weekday hours.
 
Carl Lewis, who owns All Care as well as Nation’s Medicines with his wife, Kim, told those gathered at an Owensboro Chamber of Commerce ribbon cutting yesterday that he “couldn’t be happier with Jeff,” adding that he prayed about hiring the right person before the store opened. Lewis and Hendrix knew each other through a little league soccer program, but hadn't really talked about much else until someone gave Lewis Hendrix’s phone number and told him to call him. Lewis said it was a “blessing.”
 
The store offers everything from wheelchairs to walkers to “comfort shoes” to breathing machines designed to help those suffering from sleep apnea.
 
A series of events are planned at All Care this week, located in the Paradise Plaza on Mt. Moriah Ave., as the store celebrates its grand opening. For more information, call 270-683-3661.
