Owensboro Chamber of Commerce 300OWENSBORO, Ky. (7/31/13) – Community and business leaders will hear from a veteran political writer, Al Cross at the August Rooster Booster. Cross, a Kentucky Journalism Hall of Fame member, will provide an outlook on the 2014 races in Kentucky, and other political issues facing the state and region. The monthly Greater Owensboro Chamber of Commerce Rooster Booster program will start at 7:30 a.m. on Thursday, July 11, at the Owensboro Christian Church.
 
“Al Cross is a life-long Kentuckian with a passion for politics and dissecting the ins and outs of the decision-making in Frankfort,” said Amy Jackson, President and CEO of the chamber. “His perspective is enlightening and entertaining at the same time.”
 
The monthly breakfast event, sponsored by the Owensboro Convention Center, will also feature the traditional Good News Phone and Chamber updates.
