Wendy’s Heisman School Winners

Henderson County High School 300HENDERSON, KY (11/7/12) – Congratulations to Henderson County High School Seniors, Katherine Dawson and Josh Whitby, on being named the Wendy’s Heisman School Winners.
 
The Wendy’s High School Heisman Program recognizes seniors from more than 29,000 public and private high schools within the U.S. participating in a wide range of sports and school/community activities. To be eligible for the 2012 Wendy’s High School Heisman Program, students must have a cumulative high school grade point average (GPA) of a B (3.0) or better, participate in at least one of 27 eligible school-sponsored sports, and be a leader in school and in the community. Recipients must also serve as role models for underclassmen.
 
“Through star performance in the classroom, on the field, and in the community, these students have done everything it takes to prepare for college and the real world beyond,” said Vivian A. Tomblin, Henderson County High School Director of Athletics.
