(4/23/13) – A 50 year old Henderson man was arrested on charges of Trafficking in a Controlled Substance and Tampering With Physical Evidence following a routine traffic stop at 1 a.m. on Thursday, April 18, at the intersection of Larue St. and Kimsey Lane in Henderson. Authorities said Jamey McLevain allegedly attempted to “discard a quantity of methamphetamine during the traffic stop. He was arrested and taken to the Henderson County Detention Center.
 
Henderson Police received report of a burglary on April 22 between 8 a.m. and 8:30 a.m. in the 800 block of North Adams St. Authorities said a man at the residence reported items worth less than $300 were taken from his home. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact the Henderson Police Department at 270-831-1295 or Crimestoppers at 270-831-1111.
 
Henderson Police received report of a burglary sometime between 2 p.m. on April and 18 and 10 p.m. on April 22 in the 300 block of Race Track Rd. Authorities said a man at the location reported items worth more than $10,000 were taken. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact the Henderson Police Department at 270-831-1295 or Crimestoppers at 270-831-1111.
 
A Jasper, Ind., man was arrested on Jefferson County warrants on April 22 at 11:51 p.m. in the 3000 block of U.S. 41 North in Henderson. According to Henderson Police, authorities discovered the active warrants as a result of contact they had with the man at the location. Warrants included charges of Theft by Unlawful Taking-Auto, and Forgery. Ryan Estabrook, 37, was arrested and lodged at the Henderson County Detention Center.
