Henderson County Schools 300OWENSBORO, Ky. (2/18/14) – On March 1, four local schools will meet at Niagara Elementary to take part in the Henderson County District 10 Governor’s Cup Competition, an academic event sponsored by the Kentucky Association for Academic Competition.

The participating schools are AB Chandler, South Heights, East Heights and Niagara.

The Written Composition and Future Problem Solving events will be conducted on Tuesday, Feb. 25, after school.

Math, English Language Arts, Science and Social Studies testing events will take place on Saturday, March 1, along with the Quick Recall event which is the only event open to the public. The start time for the Quick Recall event has not yet been announced.

District winners advance to the Governor’s Cup Regional competition to be held at Providence Elementary School on March 22.
