God’s Great Outdoor Adventures – Last Chance to Harvest a Deer

sportsmen christ turkeyKENTUCKY (1/17/13) – Hello again folks I hope you are having a blessed week. This weekend is the last weekend to hunt for the weekend warriors.

Archery season ends on Monday Jan 21, 2013. I hope everyone has at least harvested at least one deer. I have seen more deer movement over the past couple of weeks than I have for some time. These deer are hitting the harvested corn fields hard before these major fronts hit the area.

With the weather like it is, and a wind storm moving up from the southwest, I would be setting on a harvested cornfield this weekend if I were you. I was planning on hunting more, but my time is running out. I will have to wait until next fall.

I am going to enjoy some coyote hunting while I wait upon the Spring turkey season. Our first hunt will take place March 23rd and 24th down in northwest Tennessee. I will be guiding a youth on the Kids Hunting for a Cure Turkey hunt. I look forward to it every year.

Get out and do something in the outdoors all year.

We will begin to shed hunt starting in February.

Until next time God bless and be safe.

Sportsmen for Christ
