uk volleyball1 300LEXINGTON, Ky. (4/5/13) – Volleyball coach Craig Skinner and the 2013 Wildcats welcome fans to an open practice session in Memorial Coliseum on April 19.
 
The event will begin with an open practice running from 4:30 p.m. ET to approximately 6 p.m. Special programs will be made available highlighting volleyball terminology and rules and the coaching staff will routinely explain each drill. Following practice, the team welcomes fans to a reception which will include food and a chance to interact with the coaching staff and team.
 
A question and answer session will highlight the night as fans will have the opportunity to get to know the Cats and ask about the upcoming 2013 season.
 
“We are committed to growing the sport of volleyball here in Lexington and Central Kentucky,” Skinner said. “We’ve seen a real passion to learn more about the game we love here and the team and staff are really looking forward to this event.”
