UK Volleyball 300LEXINGTON, Ky. (9/27/13) – The UK IMG Network has selected a pair of Kentucky volleyball matches against Southeastern Conference foes to broadcast locally and throughout the Fox Sports South footprint, it was announced Thursday afternoon.

Kentucky’s matchup with Alabama on Oct. 27 will air locally on CWKYT at 1:30 p.m. ET. The broadcast will also air on a delayed basis throughout the full FSS footprint at 4 p.m. ET that afternoon.

The Nov. 10th date with LSU will move to a 1 p.m. ET first serve from the originally scheduled 1:30 start time. That match will air live locally on CWKYT and will also be available to residents of Kentucky, Tennessee, Mississippi and Alabama on the FSS network.

The two matches are in addition to a pair of conference road matches that have already been selected for broadcast. Kentucky’s matchup at Florida on Oct. 11 will air on FSS. Furthermore, UK’s road tilt at Georgia on Oct. 23 is slated for an ESPNU broadcast.

Every SEC match is available to fans via radio as well. For all home matches, Lexington’s 1580 AM carries the match live in addition to being available via UKathletics.com. This season the Wildcats’ road matches during league play will be available through online streaming at UKathletics.com.

Kentucky's Memorial Coliseum will play host to the NCAA Regionals Dec. 13-14. UK is one of four sites selected for the Sweet 16 and Elite Eight matchups with one team advancing to the Final Four in Seattle, Wash., from the Lexington Region. This marks the second time in three seasons Memorial Coliseum will host this premier volleyball event.
