Owensboro Downtown Traffic Flow to Shift to Accommodate Road Work

Owensboro Seal 01 300OWENSBORO, Ky. (4/3/13) – As part of downtown development, the City of Owensboro plans to shift the following streets from one-way to two-way starting Monday, April 8. Prior to this date, Owensboro Municipal Utilities and the City Street Department will be working in around the area. Detours will be appropriately marked. Please proceed with caution in these areas.

- Locust Street from Second Street to Fifth Street;
- Walnut Street from Second Street to Fifth Street.

More information about street closures can be found on the City’s website at www.owensboro.org/street/info. The public can also sign up for text alerts about street closings by visiting the City’s website or by following the City’s Facebook page.
