Trooper Island Fundraiser at bd’s Mongolian Grill

trooper island 300LEXINGTON, Ky. (3/16/13) – The Kentucky State Police (KSP) will be holding a fundraiser to help promote the Trooper Island Camp.

KSP officials are inviting the public to join them for dinner at bd’s Mongolian grill on March 28, 2013 between 6:00—9:00 p.m. and Trooper Island Camp will receive a portion of all the sales during that time.

Come by and meet the New Trooper Island Camp Director and his staff. Have them prepare your food and learn more about Trooper Island. You can also purchase a Trooper Island Raffle ticket while you are there.

Trooper Island Camp is a camp for children who otherwise would not have the means to attend. They spend a week learning skills such as swimming, boating, fishing, archery and much, much more.

Trooper Island Camp is run solely on donations.
