accident w injuries redGREENVILLE, Ky. (5/21/13) – On Monday, May 20, at approximately 4:33 PM, Greenville Fire Department, Kentucky State Police (KSP), Muhlenberg EMS and a Muhlenberg Constable responded to KY 181 in response to a reported accident.
 
According to KSP officials, a 17-year-old Beech Creek juvenile was operating a 2004 Nissan, southbound on KY 181, when the vehicle’s tires dropped off the right shoulder, causing the vehicle to exit the roadway. The operator steered her vehicle left, overcorrected, and began sliding. The vehicle crossed both lanes, exited the left side of the roadway, and struck a tree.
 
The juvenile operator was transported to Muhlenberg Community Hospital for treatment to injuries sustained from the collision. As of this time, no information has been released on the condition of the juvenile.
