brooks gibbs bullyingMADISONVILLE, Ky. (4/26/13) – Bully Proof Program creator Brooks Gibbs will give a presentation for parents at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, May 1, at Browning Springs Middle School. Everyone is invited.

Gibbs, who will speak to BSMS students and staff during sessions earlier in the day, will share his in-sights on bullying. He has pioneered easy and effective methods to teach victims of bullying the skills they need not just to thrive, but to thrive.

According to Gibbs’ media packet, he “has empowered hundreds of thousands of kids to build the self-reliance and resilience they need to solve their social problems without adult intervention.”

Gibbs is the author of “Love is Greater than Hate,” and has been featured in Teen, People Magazine and The Washington Post. The event is sponsored by Browning Springs Middle School and the BSMS Youth Services Center.
