Semi Accident near WK Parkway/Pennyrile Parkway Interchange

SEMI TRUCK 300HOPKINS COUNTY, Ky. (5/8/13) – Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KTC) officials are currently warning local drivers of an accident involving a semi on Pennyrile Parkway near the WK Parkway interchange ramp.

KTC Officials reported, around 9:25 PM, on Friday, May 10, 2013, that there was an overturned cattle truck on Pennyrile Parkway near the I-69/WK Parkway interchange between Nortonville and Mortons Gap. Officials stated that there are an estimated 15-20 cows currently running loose in the area.

According to KTC spokesman, Keith Todd, traffic is at a crawl and caution is required by those traveling through the area.
