Meth Investigation Leads to Arrest of Owensboro Man

arrestaMUHLENBERG COUNTY, KY (8/15/12) - On August 4, Deputy Pat Putnam responded to suspicious activity at Highway 175 N.

Upon arrival, Putnam along with Muhlenberg County Sheriff Detective Troy Gibson assigned to PNTF located suspected meth lab components.

As a result of an investigation by Gibson, George R. White of Owensboro was arrested. According to the Sheriff's Dept, White admitted that he had been in Muhlenberg County and had cooked meth and stole anhydrous ammonia.

Gibson obtained a warrant for White, which was served by the Owensboro Police Department. George R. White was charged with manufacturing methamphetamine; possession of anhydrous ammonia with intent to manufacture methamphetamine and possession of a controlled substance, first degree.

Gibson was assisted by Deputy Pat Putnam, Detective Wade Griggs and Owensboro Police Department.
