MUHLENBERG COUNTY, KY (10/1/12) – On Sunday evening, at approximately 10:44 PM, Kentucky State Police (KSP), Drakesboro Fire Department and Muhlenberg County EMS responded to a report of a possible accident with injuries on KY 176 near Drakesboro.
Once on the scene, first responders found that 50-year-old Timothy Huckleberry of Greenville had been traveling east in a 2008 Honda when a deer crossed the road in front of him. In an attempt to miss the deer, Huckleberry swerved and exited the right side of the highway, colliding head on with a tree.
Huckleberry was transported to Muhlenberg Community Hospital for treatment of injuries.
The vehicle was removed from the site by Quality Towing.
