CENTRAL CITY, KY (10/1/12) - Muhlenberg County Sheriff Department Detectives Wade Griggs and Troy Gibson (assigned to Pennyrile Narcotics Task Force) arrested two Central City men after finding a meth lab at the residence of 203 West 7th Avenue in Central City.
After arriving at the residence officers found an active meth lab along with numerous ingredients used to manufacture meth. Officers also located three small children inside the home.
Anthony Campbell of 810 Cherry Street was charged with Manufacturing Methamphetamine and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Jonathan Nelson of 203 W 7th Avenue was charged with Manufacturing Methamphetamine, Possession of a Handgun by a Convicted Felon, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Controlled Substance as well as Endangerment of a Child 4th degree.
Detective Troy Gibson led in the investigation, assisted by Sheriff Curtis McGehee, Central City Officers Jimmy Beadnell and Dewayne Davenport, MCSO Deputies Terry Vick, B. W. Dearmond, Billy Holland; Greenville Fire Chef Jerry Aders and Cabinet of Human Resources.
Nelson and Campbell were lodged in the Muhlenberg County Detention Center.
