Taylon Whitney arrestCENTRAL CITY, KY (10/5/12) – An investigation by Sheriff’s Department Detective Troy Gibson (assigned to Pennyrile Narcotic Task Force) led to the issuance of a search warrant on the property at 505 East Everly Bros. Blvd, Central City earlier this week.
 
According to Sheriff’s Department officials, numerous drug items were found at the home, which led to a warrant being issued for 22-year-old Jacklyn Peveler.
 
While executing the search warrant on September 24th, officers cited a 26-year-old Central City resident to court on drug charges. Taylon L. Whitney (pictured) will appear before District Judge Brian Crick on October 30th to answer charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance, second degree, drug unspecified, and Drug Paraphernalia – Buy/Possess.
 
Whitney was found in possession of hydrocodone and drug paraphernalia. Jacklyn Peveler was lodged in the Muhlenberg County Detention Center October 1, on charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance, first degree, first offense – methamphetamine and Drug Paraphernalia – Buy/Possess.
 
Assisting on the scene were officers from the Central City Police Department and Muhlenberg County Sheriff’s Department.
