Sheriff’s Department Arrests Four for Manufacturing Meth

arrest meth 3MUHLENBERG COUNTY, KY (10/17/12) – On Tuesday, October 16, Muhlenberg County Sheriff’s Detective Wade Griggs, alongside Sheriff Curtis McGehee, visited a residence at 130 West Drake Street in Drakesboro to investigate an ongoing drug case.
 
Once on the scene, officers found chemicals and equipment used for manufacturing Meth in a building near the actual residence. Sheriff McGehee and Det. Griggs arrested Nicholas S. Barbre, Jeremy L. Gidcumb and Jeffery A. Douglas of 130 West Drake Street and James W. Fulkerson of 600 Harrison Avenue in Central City. The perpetrators were charged with Manufacturing Methamphetamine and lodged in the Muhlenberg County Detention Center. All perpetrators were placed under a $20,000.00 cash bond.
 
Detective Griggs and Sheriff McGehee were assisted by Deputies Shannon Albro, Derrick Moore and Det. Troy Gibson with the Pennyrile Narcotics Task Force, along with Detective Wade Shoemaker.
