Committee Created to find Muhlenberg School Superintendent

mcps1 300MUHLENBERG COUNTY, Ky. (5/21/13) – A screening committee has been formed to help conduct the search for a new superintendent for Muhlenberg County Schools. The committee members, as selected by their peers, are Rajiv Johar, parent representative; Deanna Noffsinger, classified representative; Ken Carver and Philip Oliver, certified representative.

In addition, Chairman Don Richey appointed board member Margaret Williams to serve as the board representative to the Superintendent Search Committee.

Williams will be replacing Dr. Kelly Tarter, who had been previously appointed, but asked to have his name removed. The screening committee will hold its first meeting in conjunction with the Board of Education on June 24, 2013.
