Name of Victim Officially Released in Greenville Standoff

breakingnews1GREENVILLE, Ky. (7/15/13) – On Thursday, July 11, 2013, the Greenville Police Department, along with other law enforcement and emergency personnel, responded to the scene of a home on Twin Hills Drive in Greenville.
 
While at the residence, a standoff took place between local law enforcement and Greenville resident. The resident was hidden in the garage when police officials entered the building and found that he was deceased, the victim of a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
 
Police officials have now verified that the victim was Eddie J. Williams, III.
