MCDC’s 34th Annual Eggstravaganza

Muhlen easterbunnyMuhlenberg Job Corps Employee, Emma Long (Residential Advisor) and her children, Amya, Eli & Emma had a great time at the Job Corps Egg Hunt.MUHLENBERG, Ky. (4/23/14) — The Muhlenberg Job Corps Center was excited to host its 34th Annual Community Easter Egg Hunt April 12, 2014.

The staff of the recreation department and the recreation leaders (students), were excited to entertain 124 hunters at this years’ event.

Depending upon age, the children were able to hunt eggs in two different fields that had eggs hidden with prize numbers. Every child walked away with a prize basket filled with candy treats and more. The center also had a bounce house, face painting, and games for the children.

The community egg hunt is an annual event the Center looks forward to hosting every year. This event allows the community to see a different side of the students who attend the Muhlenberg Job Corps Center.

This event is only one of the many outreach activities the Recreation Department sponsors to build strong relationships with the people of our community.
