Chamber Cash Mob Visits Nikki's

cash-mob

CENTRAL CITY, Ky. (6/23/14) — The Greater Muhlenberg County Chamber of Commerce held a cash mob Friday for Nikki's Inspired Designs Friday, June 10 across from the Courtyard in downtown Central City.

The Cash Mob event only took about ten minutes and was arranged by Dorothy Walker, chamber executive secretary.

"Once per month a random business is selected from our Chamber membership and is selected for a Cash Mob," said Walker.

During a cash mob, other business owners or managers show up at the targeted business and do some shopping. Signs are placed in front of the business and it allows all the attendees a chance to talk to one another and visit socially.

A cash mob also allows the business owner to showcase his or her business to other chamber members.

Nikki's Inspired Designs sells jewelry, clothing, handbags, various personalized items and Origami Owl.
