Owensboro Residents Charged with Manufacturing Meth

 

ARRESTED METH 1 11OWENSBORO, KY (1/11/12) - On January 10, 2012, at approximately 2:50 p.m., the Owensboro Police Department Street Crimes Unit executed a search warrant at 907 W. 13th Street.

Detectives located evidence in the home that was indicative of a well-established and ongoing manufacturing and trafficking operation of methamphetamine. Homeowner Paul A. Smith, along with another adult, Thomas E. Benningfield II, was present when detectives arrived.

They also located an 11-year-old in the residence. Shortly after starting the search, a nine-year-old had arrived home.

After this investigation, detectives arrested the two adults. They are lodged at the Daviess County Detention Center for the charges listed.
